The Copnick/Hilliard Scholarship is to assist students with a physical disability, enrolled at the post-secondary level in Canada. The purpose of the peer scholarship is to assist peer volunteers with a Spinal Cord Injury to advance their post-secondary education in the disability field.

Community ACCESS-ability Program
Funding is available to non-profit community organizations or groups, and municipalities for renovations that will provide universal public accessibility or to upgrade existing accessible facilities to improve universal public accessibility.
The RRAP for Persons with Disabilities offers financial assistance to homeowners and landlords to undertake accessibility work to modify dwellings occupied or intended for occupancy by persons with disabilities.

The Nova Scotia government assists with the payment of prescribed medications through a variety of programs.
Accessible Parking Program
To obtain the necessary vehicle plates or window permit, an application must be sent to Access Nova Scotia, an agency of the Province of Nova Scotia.
